Jack and Beth got married at the gorgeous Owen House Wedding Barn, Mobberley, back in May. Now I've got a bit of a soft spot for Owen House as it's basically down the road from where I grew up in Knutsford.
I've seen it grow from a barn without a ceremony room where I shot one of their first weddings, to a beautiful wedding venue with accommodation, a beauty room and a gorgeously lit intimate ceremony room. In fact I've just booked a wedding there for November and I can't wait!
Jack and Beth are active types, you know, the sort that climb mountains for fun (nutters basically!) and each table had a little picture of them on an adventure, accompanied by a bottles of individual ales, candles and flowers. The vibe was lovely, warm and family centric and you could tell that every single person in that room adored the socks off them both.
Beth got ready at their house in nearby Pickmere where she was picked up by camper van number 1, appropriately named Bruce. Jack hung out with his pals at Owen House whilst he waited in a lovely foral tie and blue flecked suit and the most immaculately trimmed beard I've ever seen!
The ceremony was lovely and after a few tears shed by Jack and a reading from Anji, Jack's sister our couple were wed! Hoorah! We stepped out into the garden for some Pims and a natter and I whisked them away to the hay bales for a couple of photos.
Speeches and grub followed and it was then time for the surprise, vintage volkswagen campervan number 2, a pale pink parlour called Florence full of ice cream! Polly's Parlour was a hit and we all headed to the dance floor where Jack's dad Bob stole the show with his moves! (watch out for him in their video at the end, you can't miss those knees!)
What an amazing, love filled day I wish you all the happiness in the world.
