I have the best couples, just look at these two beauties! When I first met Lauri and Sam and their big bouncy dog Buzz I knew they'd be great to take pictures of so I was excited when they got in touch to do a couples shoot just before lockdown 2. I love couple’s shoots, and they’re a great way to have a bit of a practice before the big day. We have way more time than on a wedding day so we can wander, chat and get to know each other as well as just hang out and get comfortable in front of the camera. There’s no pressure, no 130 (or 15) guests nibbling on canapes and sipping on champagne waiting for you to start the meal and we can work out which really is your best side!
We chose a popular dog walking route around the little lanes of Poynton, and with the gorgeous greens still singing in the trees and the autumnal leaves on ground I knew it was going to be a good one, and it sure was! Buzz was all for making friends with the other dogs and he was a natural in front of the camera :)
I loved photographing these two, and I can't wait for their wedding next year at Styal Lodge . I wonder whether Buzz will be making an appearance!
