A very happy birthday to one of my favourite brides of all time Sarah! Ahhhh I finally get to blog this incredible wedding!
Sarah and Sam upped sticks and moved to Canada five years ago and it was just outside their home town of Fernie, nestled in the Rocky Mountains at the Bull River Guest Ranch that they chose to tie the knot. Friends and family flew over to share their special day with them including me and my little family and what an epic day it was. The ranch is home to hundreds of hummingbirds and as they buzzed around our log cabins Sarah got ready with bridesmaid Rowie under a huge stag head mounted on the wall.

The ceremony took place outside in the unprecedented heatwave and apart from the high risk of bush fire the weather was incredible and we basked in the sun as Sarah and Sam said their vows in the shadow of the smoke shrouded mountain.
look at that horse with six legs! we snuck off after the ceremony in Sam's pickup truck to an amazing beauty spot with crystal blue water and the most incredible trees. Sam could probably tell you what they were called but I certainly can't. Any way they looked epic. I almost had a heart attack when they made their way to the edge of the cliff but we all survived and it was worth the near death experience to get our beautiful portraits.

It was then back to the ranch for the party! Woo hoo! What a brilliant time we all had.
Congratulations Sarah and Sam!
